We participated in the “Symposium on Towards a Stronger Bioeconomy: Priorities and Collaborations in Biotechnology” organised by Bioexpo in Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress & Exhibition Center. In our presentation “Quality Management in Molecular Diagnostic Kit Production” by Dr. İrem Ayşe Kanneci Altınışık, we shared our experiences. Dr. Kanneci Altınışık remarked that quality management is an administrative structure that needs to be prioritized by manufacturers:
“Manufacturing of molecular diagnostic kits required a high level of expertise and an advanced infrastructure, due to; fragility of product components, precisely optimized reactions, necessity of following strict protocols, need of accurate quality control processes at every step of production.”
