A new one has been added to our 2019-nCoV detection kits, which have been used to diagnose more than 3,000,000 people in more than 50 countries since the first days of the epidemic: Bosphore Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Detection Kit v4 is launched.
The kit detects and characterizes 2019-nCoV, which is later renamed officially as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) by WHO, in human respiratory samples. SARS-CoV-2 is detected by three regions of the virus in a single reaction.
The internal control of our new kit is based on the detection of human endogenous nucleic acid sequence (RNase P) present in human genome has been employed in order to check RNA extraction, PCR inhibition and sampling or application errors.
