Bosphore STD Urethritis Mini Panel Kit detects and discriminates Mycoplasma genitalium DNA, Trichomonas vaginalis DNA and Neisseria gonorrhoeae in human biological samples including urine, tissue / biopsy specimen, swabs (flocking swabs and liquid amies, UTM, VCM, Sigma Transwab, Copan ESwab, Sigma VCM, vaginal swab, endocervical swab, urethral swab) and semen samples in two PCR tubes. Fluorescence detection is accomplished using the FAM, HEX, Texas Red and Cy5 filters.

An internal control has been integrated into the kit in order to check DNA extraction, PCR inhibition and application mistakes. The internal control can be added either during DNA extraction or PCR step.
