Bosphore EX-Tract Food Testing Reagent is intended for the extraction of DNA from a wide range of food matrices, including meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, fish and seafood, eggs and egg products, cereals, grains and bakery products, confectionery and sugar-based products, vegetables, fruits and plant-based products, oils and oilseeds, spices, ready-to-eat meals, sauces and convenience foods, ice cream and frozen products, beverages and tea, animal feed, and other food matrices. The kit is intended for use in combination with food pathogen detection kits and contains EX-Tract DNA Reagent and dH₂O for the extraction of pathogen DNA. Following the applicable pre-enrichment procedure, samples processed with Bosphore EX-Tract Food Testing Reagent are suitable for direct downstream PCR analysis without requiring any additional DNA purification or processing steps.
Fast-EX Extraction & Transfer Reagent has been specially developed to collect, store and directly perform PCR analysis of throat and intranasal swabs. This kit includes swabs for biological sample collection, a preservative solution and sample tubes for safe and effective storage of samples.
In fast protocol, samples are ready for PCR in about 20 seconds of vortex without the need of an additional device.
In the viral thermal inactivation protocol (in case of saliva contamination), samples are ready for PCR in about 13 minutes.
