Bosphore Brucella Detection Kit v1 is, a Real-Time PCR based in-vitro diagnostic medical device, IVD CE marked according to 98/79/EC Directive. Bosphore Brucella Detection Kit v1 detects B. abortus, B. melitensis, B. canis, B. suis, B. ovis and B. microti DNA in human biological samples. A region within the BCSP31gene is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using the FAM filter.

An internal control has been integrated into the kit in order to check PCR inhibition. The amplification data of the internal control is detected with the HEX filter. The internal control is added in PCR step.

Bosphore Hepatitis A Detection Kit v2 detects hepatitis A RNA from fruit and vegetable samples, sea food, meat, poultry and dairy products. Hepatitis A genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using FAM filter. The analytical detection limit for Bosphore Hepatitis A Detection Kit v2 was found to be 21 copies/reaction.

A process control has been integrated into the kit to control extraction efficiency. The amplification data of the process control is detected with the Cy5 filter. Also, positive control (external control-EC) has been integrated to the kit to control RT-PCR inhibition and to act as an RT-PCR positive control.

Bosphore Norovirus Detection Kit v2 detects norovirus GI and GII RNA from fruit and vegetable samples, sea food, meat, poultry and dairy products. Fluorescence detection is accomplished using the FAM, HEX and Cy5 filters. Norovirus genogroup GI genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using FAM filter and norovirus genogroup GII genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using HEX filter. Analytical detection limit for Bosphore Norovirus Detection Kit v2 was found to be 13 copies/reaction for norovirus GI and 20 copies/reaction for norovirus GII.
